Lilly G Productions will stage the annual Simply Dangerous fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. in Tarleton’s Student Center Ballrooms, benefitting Children’s Miracle Network and Cook Children’s Healthcare Foundation.
A centerpiece of the annual event is local rodeo men and women trading in their jeans for formalwear as they take the runway. Those on the catwalk will include the current reigning Ms and Miss Lilly G Texas as well as royalty from other nearby towns.
There will also be live entertainment, a catered meal and an award ceremony recognizing those who have been a part of Lilly G events over the years with categories including lifetime achievement and citizen of the year.
This year’s theme is A Tribute to the American Cowboy and will include dedications to late Hall of Famers Buster Welch and Larry Mahan. Locals will also present rodeo history to include information from past events featured in the Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum.

All proceeds from the event CMN as it has for the past six years. Awareness and donations have helped the network to assist in more than 8,000 cases in Erath County alone in 2022.
