The following first responder calls were made March 31 –April 6. Local first responders handled 58 calls.

Dublin PD April 1

Loose sheep or goats were in the roadway on South Shamrock and East Elm.

Code enforcement visited Grafton Street.

A warrant arrest for Gabrielle Williamson was served. A warrant arrest for Matthew Sanchez occurred after a traffic stop on FM 219/ Lasombra.

April 2

PD checked on a student with a wrecked out bike and a possible broken hand near Dublin Vet Clinic.

A citation for Minor in Possession was given in the 500 block of West Clinton April 3

A vehicle accident occurred in the 5600 block of Hwy. 6. Man tried to wave down other cars with visible injuries. He was taken to the EMS station by passerby.

A vehicle hit a sign and was leaking gas into the engine compartment. No one was inside or around the vehicle at the rest stop.

A reckless driver was reported on East Travis, started on South Hwy. 377. The individual was pulled over and it was an elderly individual who dropped their phone and was trying to get it.

April 4

A horse was out on Highland. The horse was secured.

PD assisted animal control with an aggressive dog loose on the 300 block of North Camden.

PD assisted another agency with a cow and pig out on Hwy. 6.

Suspicious activity was investigated in the 500 block of South Grafton.

April 5

A person nearly tripped over a dead cat on the sidewalk on West Live Oak and Harrell.

A person at Sonic caught a dog at large.

A person was at the police station wanting help with finding a place to stay.

April 6

A reporting person stated an individual had their airpods and would not return them. Airpods were returned.

A disturbance between family members was reported on Norton Street.

Dublin EMS

March 31 – Male fell out of a chair and needed a lift assist. EMS responded for a person who may be deceased. EMS responded for an elderly female who was dizzy.

April 1 – An elderly male fell and was unable to get up. Injured leg and hip.

April 2 – EMS needed help for a male with a fever that cannot get out of the bathroom. EMS launched a helicopter for a patient but it was canceled due to thunderstorms.

April 3 – A lift assist was requested.

April 4 – EMS was requested for an elderly female with a high temperature.

April 5 – EMS was called for a female in her 30s who was driving and her vision got blurry with dizziness. She pulled over into a church parking lot.

April 6 – A person reported that an elderly loved one was unresponsive. EMS was called for a little boy having trouble breathing.

Dublin Fire

April 3 – A fire was burning in the back yard in the 300 block of North Grafton. The fire is contained.

April 4 – A rekindle on a controlled burn in the 600 block of North Norton occurred.

April 6 – Dublin VFD was requested by Comanche for mutual aid assistance with a burn pile.
