The following first responder calls were made June 15-June 22. Local first responders handled 78 calls during this time frame and PD completed 30 traffic stops.
Dublin PD June 15
A criminal mischief call occurred on North Patrick Street when someone threw rocks while TxDOT was trying to repave the road.
A disturbance was reported when a female yelled at workers on Harris Street.
A person reported someone found their tortoise and would not give it back to the owners.
A criminal trespass warning was issued.
A citizen contact was made after arguments between husband, wife, and child was being checked on. Child was fine.
June 16
An individual in the 300 block of North Camden called about being hot after a breaker went off. Just wanted assistance. Called back and has power now. Called back again and stated lights were still off though they had AC now.
A concerned person called about a relation witnessed at the park with heavy PDA. Believed the female to be underage with older male. Both subjects were found to be underage.
The individual on Camden was having issues with her breaker again.
June 17
An individual hit the speed limit warning sign on South Liberty and CR 322. TxDot was notified.
There was a 911 hangup call and contact was attempted.
A cat with a bitten off tail was reported on East Valley.
June 18
A theft was reported.
A person walking their dog near the old stadium heard someone playing music. He was concerned about it, and wanted an officer to check the area.
A suspicious person was reported on North Norton.
An open door was reported on West Blackjack.
June 19
A person in the 300 block of North Grafton stated someone rang his doorbell three times but no one was there when he went outside. Requested an officer patrol. No one was located.
A bull was located in the 3900 block of CR 279. Other units were in a major accident and the owner could not be located.
A report occurred for an animal bite at home.
James Lee Eaton was arrested for mail theft.
An agency assist occurred on North Patrick and West Clinton.
June 20
An individual found a tracker on their car after getting a car wash.
A suspicious person was reported hitting a person’s door in the 300 block of Highland Avenue. Was a family member that they had gone no contact with and they wanted them gone.
A 911 hangup call occurred with a language barrier. Everything was 10- 4.
June 21
A vicious animal call was reported in the 300 block of North Grafton when an individual called about their own two dogs fighting and could not stop them. Law enforcement got them separated.
A person in the 800 block of Preston Lane stated chicks were in his yard again eating his bird seed. He wants something done.
A 9-year-old boy was reported missing. Child eventually showed up on his bike. Police spoke to child and family.
Two calls regarding gunshots in the 300 block of North Grafton were reported. Officer did not hear any gunshots, but advised EMS in case.
Erath County EMSDublin division June 16 – Air medical was called for an EMS call June 17 – An elderly male fell and was unable to get up.
June 20 – A male patient was seizing.
June 20 – EMS transported an individual.
June 21 – a driver hit a horse on South FM 219 north of CR 320. No injuries were reported.
Dublin Volunteer Fire Department June 16 – A fire was reported in the 800 block of U.S. 377 South. Fire was not located.
June 16 – A fire was reported on East Hwy. 6/ CR 526 June 20 – A 2-acre grass fire was reported on FM 219, moving slow with light fuel. Fence was cut to get in.
June 21 – A grass fire was reported on the Loop causing low visibility.
