The following first responder calls were made March 10 -March 16. Local first responders handled 88 calls during this timeframe.

Dublin PD March 10

Loose goats were reported on Hwy 6 and CR 347. They were not located.

An individual reported drug use in the 700 block of N. Camden Street.

A reckless driver with a giant kiddy pool would not let another driver pass and was traveling 45 mph in a 65 mph zone on CR 250. They were not located.

A domestic disturbance was reported between ex-spouses. Parties were separated.

A criminal trespass was issued.

A terroristic threat occurred at a school.

A harassment report was filed when an individual had been receiving threats from someone claiming to be a police officer in Tarrant County.

March 11

A fire was investigated in the 1000 block of West Elm. Individuals burning in a fire pit.

An animal at large call was made regarding a non-aggressive large, white dog walking around on Sheridan. Call passed to animal control.

An ATM machine ate someone’s cash deposit at the bank.

An officer completed a consent search and no contraband was located.

Police responded to a vehicle crash in the 300 block of North Patrick.

March 12

A welfare check was requested on an individual that did not show up for work, and no one could reach her.

A fire alarm activated in the 2200 block of E. Hwy. 6. It was a false alarm.

March 13

A Ford Mustang was speeding and passing drivers unsafely on Blackjack. They were not located.

PD was called for a suspicious person who followed someone home and then when they saw her get out of the car, they said they thought she was someone else and drove away.

March 14

Shoplifting was reported in the 400 block of S. Patrick Street.

A reporting person stated he was pulled over by and man and woman back in May, and they kept his DL. He was suspended at the time.

An individual called the police because she is getting divorced and does not want her husband back on the property.

Police were called for a civil matter involving two neighbors and a fence.

A reporting person called stating a vehicle had been at a location in the 900 block of North Patrick for over a week and someone stated it was from car problems. Trying to locate owner.

A search resulted in a citation for an open container.

March 15

A person would like to speak to an officer about a loved one getting out of prison and how to handle the situation.

PD responded to a vehicle crash on Highland.

PD responded to a call for suspicious person at school. Someone was waiting for their ride and they never showed up. Kid started walking. Offi cer will give info to parents in regards to kids being left unattended.

March 16

Noe Carrizales was arrested for a DWI.

A postal employee was dropping off packages and a female let out small dogs, and they attacked him. No injury, he was able to fight them off with a box.

PD responded to a civil matter when cousin borrowed a vehicle.

PD responded to a verbal altercation between spouses.

PD completed 35 traffic stops this week.

Dublin EMS

March 11 – An elderly female was having trouble getting out of bed, and she did have a history of gout. Transported to ER. EMS responded to an elderly male that fell, had hip pain and needed assistance getting up. EMS responded for a male that fell, had a knot on his head and an injury to his elbow.

March 12 – A male in his 30’s was having chest pains.

March 14 – A female in her 60’s was having chest pains.

March 15 – an elderly male with flu symptoms for multiple days needs transport to hospital. An employee passed out and was going in and out of consciousness. A person requested help getting their medication set up. EMS was requested for an elderly male who fell the night before and was still on the floor. Possible knee injury. EMS responded to a woman who had passed out in front of a residence and was awake and screaming for help. Possible head injury. EMS responded to an elderly male having trouble breathing. Air Evac transported to Harris Methodist downtown.

March 16 – A person was in an accident recently was having severe neck pain and can’t get up. Transported to ER. An elderly male fell and believed he broke his hip. EMS responded to an elderly male that was very lethargic with COPD.

Dublin VFD

March 10 – Smoke was spotted on West Elm.

March 12 – Mutual aid requested on a grass fire on CR 331. EMS responded to an elderly male with a low oxygen level.

March 16 – A reporting person could see smoke from their home on CR 351 and believed the field next to him was on fire. Fire does not seem very big.
