The following first responder calls were made Dec. 29–Jan.4. Local first responders handled 66 calls during this time frame and PD completed 28 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Dec. 29
Jessica Jeffery was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop.
PD assisted EMS on a call.
A suppression alarm went off in a drying unit in the 100 block of CR 343.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of West Live Oak. They appeared to be stealing things from yards and were wearing light clothing.
Dec. 30
An interior alarm activated in the 300 block of North Patrick.
A suspicious person was reported on Highland/Ella Street.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of East Live Oak when a resident saw a light, then heard a boom and smelled plastic burning. Nothing was located.
Dec. 31
A stray dog was chasing her calves and tried to bite the reporting person when she went outside in the 500 block of Cain Drive.
A person requested a building check be set up.
A reporting person advised neighbors were shooting off fireworks in the 1000 block of West Elm St.
A person reported fireworks landing in their backyard and believed they were being shot off on Hawk/Hurt Streets.
Jan. 1
A person called in fireworks being shot off in the 1000 block of North Post Oak. Was concerned because of the 10 acres of dry brush behind the residence.
A welfare concern was called in about a young child due to custody issues.
A front door alarm activated in the 200 block of South Patrick.
Jan. 2
A general interior alarm activated in the 300 block of North Patrick.
Jan. 3
An interior alarm activated in the 300 block of North Patrick.
DPD assisted SPD with a call inside city limits.
Jan. 4
A terroristic threat was reported between a mom and son.
A disorderly conduct was called in the 300 block of Grafton when a SUV with dirt on the window reported the “n” word being written. They did not want their children to see it and the caller was offended. Words were removed off the vehicle.
SPD requested aid from DPD making contact with a resident in the city.
A disorderly conduct call was reported in the 700 block of East Myrtle when neighbors were shooting a small caliber weapon. It was not located.
A reckless driver call was reported on Hwy. 377. It was not located.
A semi vs. tree was reported in the 14000 block of CR 355. Driver reported foot pain.
Nine calls were received from an individual in a mental health crisis for a variety of reasons over the time period.

Dec. 31 – A pasture was on fire on FM 2156/FM 219.
Jan. 1 – Dublin VFD assisted on a structure fire in Comanche County with Proctor VFD for a barn on fire.
Jan. 2 – Dublin assisted with a structure fire in DeLeon on CR 485.
