The following first responder calls were made Nov. 17– Nov. 23. Local first responders handled 61 calls during this time frame and PD completed 19 traffic stops.

Dublin PD Nov. 17

There was a vehicle crash between a truck and a milk truck on North FM 219.

A suspicious vehicle was reported on Norton when a white Ford pickup pulled into the residence.

Nov. 18

Four puppies kept getting into the roadway and messing with a work crew on Gracie St. Puppies belonged on Live Oak. The owners were not present and officer was going to follow up later.

A reckless driver was reported when a silver or grey BMW convertible was driving at a high rate of speed on North Patrick, passed by Texas Bank headed towards Stephenville. They were not located.

Nov. 19

A cruelty to animal report was taken when someone poisoned the person’s cats in the 300 block of West Clinton St.

A person was seeking legal clarification on a vehicle left on her property.

A welfare concern was tackled when a daughter had not been able to get in touch with her mom for the past few days.

A suspicious person was reported in the 700 block of East Chandler. They were not located.

A person witnessed abuse and wants to report it.

An individual was trying to secure her dog in the middle of the road and needed assistance.

Nov. 20

A reporting person had not been able to get ahold of his elderly sister and requested a welfare check.

A suspicious vehicle was reported when a white passenger van with hazards on was located on CR 370. No one was around or in it. (It was not the newspaper’s van. We are good.)

Nov. 21

After a suspicious person call a subject ran from an officer into an abandoned building.

An officer transported a student home along with admin.

A person requested a welfare check on someone with medical issues.

A suspicious vehicle was running the stop sign in the 400 block of West Travis. Requested to speak with an officer.

Comanche County requested mutual aid for a three vehicle accident with three injuries near Stockman’s Ranch RV Park.

A welfare concern was called in for two individuals on the side of the road on East Blackjack.

A vehicle crash occurred in the 12800 block of Hwy. 377 with one vehicle in the roadway.

Agency assist was called to aid with the wreck.

Nov. 22

An agency assist was requested in the 1500 block of SW Hwy. 377.

A 911 hangup call was reported in the 300 block of North Patrick.

An agency assist occurred on Hwy. 6 for pigs being out. The individuals were cited earlier in the day for them being out and were working on repairing the fence. They were able to secure them.

A reckless driver was reported on the loop when a tan Ford Taurus driver was on his phone driving at a high rate of speed and almost ran the reporting person off the road.

The pigs were out again. (Officers responded to the fugitive hams on the lam).

Nov. 23

A male with a gun was fighting with family.

An agency assist was called in for a young male driver in a small red SUV that hit a street sign at 6/281 split and left the scene. Took Hwy. 6 towards Dublin. Was not located.

Dogs were loose in the 400 block of Sheridan. One of them did bite the reporting person’s dog but the dog is fine. The dogs were not located.

A suspicious vehicle was reported on CR 299.

A person in the 400 block of Bluebonnet Circle requested public works because water was backing up in her sink.

There appeared to be a water main break in the 300 block of North Patrick St.

Chad Fitzgerald was arrested after a traffic stop on suspicion of DWI.

Erath EMS- Dublin division

Nov. 18 – a landing zone was set up for Air Evac on FM 219 related to a medical call.

Nov. 21 – EMS responded for a female choking.

Dublin VFD

Nov. 21 – Fire was requested to help EMS with a patient who fell down stairs at the apartments on Patrick St.

Nov. 22 – Mutual aid on a fire was called for CR 382. Was later canceled.

Nov. 22 – A dryer caught fire in the 1100 block of CR 249.
