The following first responder calls were made Sept. 22– Sept. 28. Local first responders handled 83 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 29 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Sept. 22
A reckless driver was reported on FM 219 and South Liberty Street when a maroon F250 was swerving and almost hit several vehicles. The vehicle was not located.
A noise complaint occurred for loud music on a front porch in the 500 block of North Camden.
Sept. 23
A welfare concern was issued when someone couldn’t get ahold of a person or an emergency contact for about a week.
A 911 hangup call was reported in the 800 block of Courtney Dr. Nothing alarming was heard.
A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 800 block of North Patrick when a maroon mini van was possibly stalled out.
Five puppies were in the roadway on South Liberty/ South Norton Street.
A tree fell across the road on Patrick Street.
A vehicle went through a telephone pole in the 2300 block of South FM 219.
Paige Pruitt was arrested after a disturbance for public intoxication.
A deputy requested fire units to Hwy. 6 and CR 521 to Hwy. 6 for trees in the road.
Sept. 24
An alarm activated at the bank’s ATM in the 800 block of North Patrick.
A fiber optic line was hanging in the roadway in the 500 block of East Live Oak.
A motorist assist occurred on Blackjack/Patrick when a vehicle with its flashers on was located.
A vehicle hit a fence pole and a single vehicle wreck occurred.
Sept. 25
A person was receiving threats.
A reckless driver call was reported on a 90s model silver Dodge swerving and failing to maintain lanes. Was coming into Dublin on Patrick Street from Allsup’s. The vehicle was not located.
Sept. 26
A person reported a dog that was barking all night long. Possibly on Harrell Street.
Wesley Wise was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop.
A two vehicle car crash occurred in front of DQ, no injuries.
An officer attended a Dublin football game as a stand by.
A reporting person called regarding a legal question as he was getting kicked out by a girlfriend.
A white truck and a Cadillac were both swerving and not allowing a person to pass in the 700 block of North Patrick. The Cadillac turned on Grafton and white truck turned on South Highland. They were not located.
Sept. 27
A welfare concern was called in about a male in all black riding a skateboard on Hwy. 377. Person was afraid he was going to get hit by a car.
A motorist assist occurred on Elm St. and PD.
Sept. 28
A hit and run accident occurred in the 3900 block of CR 351. Minor damage with no injuries.
Three large dogs almost caused an accident with a semi-truck in the 1600 block of FM 219.
A reporting person stated someone had been violating a criminal trespass order.
Dublin EMS
Sept. 22 – A medical alert was activated by an elderly female after she fell.
Sept. 24 – An elderly male needed a lift assist and was possibly having diabetic problems.
Sept. 25- A person was at work, broke out in a cold sweat, started throwing up, came home still having dizziness, throwing up and tightness in chest.
Sept. 27 – A male having chest pains with a history of a previous heart attack was airlifted. A male passed out and was unresponsive, transported to ER.
Sept. 28 – A medical alarm was activated and then cancelled per company. A person had a 104 fever and was feeling very weak.
Dublin Fire
Sept. 23 – A fire was sparking in the 500 block of a private road. No poles were down, possible generator. It was unable to be located. A tree was on fire on Hwy. 377.
