The following first responder calls were made Sept. 1– Sept. 7. Local first responders handled 87 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 21 traffic stops.

Dublin PD Sept. 1

Dublin PD assisted another agency with trying to make contact with the owner of a vehicle.

There was a kid on an orange side-by-side on Hwy. 6 who almost got hit. The vehicle was located and advised of the law.

A teenager was sending photos to unknown adult male. Phone was taken away and parent wanted contact by PD.

A disturbance between two females was reported in the 400 block of South Liberty.

A noise complaint was called in regarding loud music and dogs barking in the 300 block of North Camden.

Sept. 2

A friendly neighborhood Spiderman in his PJs was reportedly having difficulty walking down Patrick Street.

With great power comes great responsibility … like carpooling so he was trying to get a ride to Stephenville. Guess his webslingers must have been out.

A person’s baby mama allegedly stole their wallet while they were out of town.

A two-vehicle crash occurred in the 200 block of East Blackjack.

A suspicious person was reported that had been hollering and saying bad words for 3-4 hours in the 100 block of Perry.

A person in the 400 block of Edward Drive was hearing bangs and people walking around outside. She was home alone and would like someone to patrol the area.

Sept. 3

A suspicious person was reportedly yelling and knocking on people’s doors.

A welfare check was called in about a 3-yearold child that was lost.

A civil matter was reported in the 500 block of E. Liveoak with a utility truck and trailer in the yard, and another vehicle was blocking the driveway. They were using a hose and filling the yard with water.

A reporting person stated an Amazon driver dropped off packages and was allegedly unable to walk or talk properly. Reporting person thought he smelled like alcohol and was headed up North Patrick.

Sept. 4

There was a disturbance in the 300 block of North Grafton with an individual acting like they were high, screaming and coming in and out of responding.

A reporting person was at the library and he stated his truck that was stolen 7 or 8 years ago was there.

Suspicious activity was reported the 1100 block of Preston Lane when an Oncor power line was frayed.

An agency assist was conducted when a child needed to be checked on. The child was with his brother and everything was fine.

Sept. 5

A person on a lot on Hwy. 377 heard a big boom with a loud noise advised it was smokey and smelled like fire.

Family had welfare concern about family members. Police made contact, reassured them they were OK just blocking people they didn’t want to talk to.

A person in the 500 block of North Grafton stated their daughter was hit by a car by riding her bike by an orange SUV that left the scene. A woman was driving, did stop and checked on the girl, but continued to leave the scene. The vehicle was located, and the driver admitted to hitting the child and followed police back to the residence.

A two vehicle accident with moderate damage was reported at Hwy. 377/ CR 351.

A person needed to report a case of child abuse.

A welfare concern was requested for a family member that may have been the victim of domestic violence.

A person advised there was a powerline in the roadway on West Sheridan and Hurt.

A suspicious vehicle was reported when they were stopping, starting and burning rubber on North Camden and Grafton. The vehicle was not located.

Sept. 6

Three vehicles were reportedly followng a little girl along the road after school on North Davies St.

An injured cat was located under a vehicle and the reporting party wanted to know what to do with it.

A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of North Patrick.

Sept. 7

A person was requesting a civil standby for a custody exchange.

Dublin EMS

Sept. 1 – An elderly male fell on his side.

Sept. 2 – An elderly male fell on the patio behind his home. He had unknown injuries. An elderly female cancer patient was in severe pain and unable to walk.

Sept. 3 – A person fell down the stairs. An elderly male was having seizures.

Sept. 4 – An elderly female was feeling numbness on one arm and leg with heavy breathing. A person that was paralyzed was sick and couldn’t be moved. EMS went standby at the football game. An elderly female reported numbness on leg and arm with her left side hurting. She was diabetic. A deputy on scene advised they needed EMS.

Sept. 5 – A 2-year-old with a high fever was possibly having a seizure. EMS went on standby at the football game.

Dublin Fire

Sept. 1 – There was a fire behind the property in the 500 block of CR 347. The pasture was on fire and the fire was extinguished.

Sept. 2 – A fire was reported on CR 228. It turned out to be on the railroad tracks. They were able to extinguish part of it, but another portion was further down the tracks.

Sept. 5 – Comanche County called Dublin for mutual aid at grass fire at the intersection of Hwy. 16 and FM 2156.
