The following first responder calls were made Aug. 11–Aug. 17. Local first responders handled 67 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 15 traffi c stops.

Dublin PD Aug. 11

A reporting person advised someone had been knocking on her door for a week in the 600 block of Ireland and was currently knocking on her door.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 800 block of North Patrick.

Help was provided for a suicidal subject.

Multiple 911 hangup calls occurred in the 3000 block of CR 340. Unable to locate.

Aug. 12

A person heard three shotgun blasts in the 300 block of West Liveoak. They were reported close enough to rattle windows.

A harassment report was taken.

An extremely minor one vehicle accident occurred in the 400 block of East Blackjack.

A suspicious person was reported in the 500 block of East Elm Street when a male was ringing the door bell, then went to side of the house to take photos. The person was driving a grey SUV.

Aug. 13

A one vehicle crash occurred on Hwy. 377/Hwy. 6. A person involved stated they were dizzy.

An emergency protective order violation was reported.

A student was transported by PD.

A person with a business sought advice because a client’s check bounced.

A welfare concern was called in.

A suspicious vehicle on Sheridan was reported.

A male subject was reported holding a weapon while kids were outside walking their dogs in the 500 block of East Elm Street.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of North Post Oak when two males jumped out of a vehicle parked in the reporting person’s driveway and ran to the football field by the Administration building.

Aug. 14

Dublin PD assisted another agency with attempting to locate a yellow mustang on CR 351 whose driver could not keep their eyes open, acting drunk and not able to walk straight. They were unable to locate.

A person requested information about a criminal mischief case.

A missing brown terrier was reported in the 200 block of East Blackjack. Escaped the front yard.

Aug. 15

Hay bales were reported in the roadway on Hwy. 377.

Dublin PD assisted Sheriff ’s Office with a criminal trespass warning.

A criminal trespass warning occurred.

Aug. 16

A domestic dispute occurred.

A large dog with a collar was running around in the roadway on Hwy. 6. Unable to locate.

An agency assist was requested on a suspicious vehicle, a white mini van with two occupants on FM 219. Vehicle was not located.

A disturbance occurred between two neighbors.

Aug. 17

Hanna Speers was arrested for a DWI.

A civil matter was discussed.

A reckless driver in the 900 block of North Patrick was reported when a white Honda Civic was swerving and then the driver couldn’t get the door open once stopped.

A black bike with two riders was driving recklessly on Blackjack. They were not located.

Samson Stovall was arrested for public intoxication.

Dublin EMS

Aug. 11 – a female with high blood pressure was having problem walking after a fall the previous day. A female was having problems breathing and was sitting in a vehicle with an oxygen tank.

Aug. 12 – A young man was having chest pain with his heart skipping beats. He went to the EMS building.

Aug. 14 – A elderly female was dizzy and is a diabetic. An agency assist was requested and an elderly female in Comanche had low blood sugar, was passed out and having seizures.

Aug. 15 – EMS was at the football stadium for a standby.

Aug. 16 – A caregiver called about a female that was not responsive but breathing. A rodeo standby was done. A young woman was cramping, itchy, dizzy and vomiting, but breathing normal.

Aug. 17 – A possible stroke occurred . Air Evac transported patient to Fort Worth Medical.

Dublin Fire

Aug. 11 – a fire call occurred on CR 305. A grass fire was reported on the CR 357 and was moving across the bar ditch. No structures were threatened.

Aug. 14 – A person stated they could smell gas in the 600 block of East Blackjack and Atmos was called.

Aug. 15 – FD assisted changing a battery on smoke/carbon monoxide detector. There was a fire in the median on Hwy. 377. A fire was reported on CR 332 and Proctor was dispatched with a brush truck and a tanker to help.
