The following first responder calls were made May 26 –June 1. Local first responders handled 81 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 29 traffic stops.

Dublin PD May 26

There was a supposed stolen vehicle and Dublin PD was assisting another agency.

There was a gas drive off and Dublin assisted another agency.

A house in the 500 block of East Church Street was playing loud music.

There was a two vehicle minor accident in the 100 block of East Blackjack Street.

Parents called about their son being at a friend’s house, and he shouldn’t have been.

May 27

A person wanted to make a report to an officer.

A person was flipped the bird by a neighbor and wanted to press charges.

A subject stated the other parent was making her uncomfortable, slamming car doors when she takes the child for a visit, and wanted information on getting a restraining order.

May 28

A two vehicle car accident happened on East Blackjack and Grafton.

Someone was threatening someone with a bat in the 200 block of North Patrick.

May 29

The FAA called and they have had four planes see a red laser in the area. Lat and Long. came back to a field with no access and dense fog was present.

May 30

A person was rear-ended by a semi near the county line on Hwy. 377.

A disturbance between a teen and parent was reported.

Dublin PD acted as backup for county for a naked man with a backpack walking down a county road. Agencies were unable to locate him.

May 31

A person advised that an aggressive dog kept trying to attack him when he was stepping out of his home. Requested an officer to come discuss options with him and a neighbor.

A person reported a potential stolen vehicle in front of an abandoned mobile home.

Dogs attempted to attack his son in the 300 block of West Sheridan.

A person was suspected of stealing groceries at HEB and vehicle comes back to address in Dublin.

A grey Audi was speeding and swerving in and out of traffic on Hwy. 377.

June 1

A tree was down on West Harris. Public works responded.

A person at the airport called wanting to know where the courtesy car was.

A reporting person stated that Travis County was falsifying reports, accusing him of being someone else and requested to talk to chief.

A person in the 500 block of West Live Oak advised she had ripped up the water piping in her front yard and there was now a fountain.

A reporting person stated his girlfriend’s brother side swiped his vehicle.

A person in the 700 block of East College could not get out of their driveway because a neighbor was blocking the road. It happens often.

An assault occurred in the 200 block of East Blackjack.

Dublin EMS

May 26 - A two-vehicle accident with unknown injuries occurred on Hwy. 377.

May 27 – An elderly female fell, could not get back up. An elderly female could not answer questions correctly, happened all of the sudden.

May 28- An elderly female fell and has a possible broken leg. A 45-year-old male had chest pain.

May 30- EMS were dispatched to a wreck with an overturned vehicle on CR 255. Passenger’s arm was bleeding heavily and driver was using his t-shirt as a tourniquet. Was airlifted.

Harbin rolled up on a wreck on CR 249 and male had a gash to head and a nose bleed.

May 31 – A person accidentally took too much hydrocodiene and is concerned.

May 26 – There was a telephone pole on fire on CR 305.
