The following first responder calls were made April 28 –May 2. Local first responders handled 55 calls during this timeframe.

Dublin PD April 28

A front door burglary alarm was activated in the 200 block of South Patrick Street.

Someone had a legal question regarding a smoke shop.

A minor accident occurred in the 300 block of East Blackjack Street with no injuries.

A person with rental issues asked for PD assistance.

A smoke alarm was activated in the 2200 block of East Hwy. 6. It was a false alarm.

April 29

A welfare concern occurred when a woman with two children was walking, and being followed by a vehicle with the people yelling at each other. The woman continued into the park and the vehicle left.

A civil standby was requested in the 600 block of South Patrick.

April 20

PD assisted a motorist on Hwy. 6/West Blackjack.

A vehicle crash occurred on Hwy. 377 and CR 195 in Dublin with a semi vs. pickup. Airbags deployed.

May 1

A person went to let his dogs out in the 600 block of Hawk Street and believed he heard someone trying to get into his gate.

A single vehicle accident with no injuries occurred on South Liberty when the person didn’t see the stop sign because of the fog, ran off the road through a fence and lost his camper shell.

A Jeep was hit in the 300 block of North Grafton.

A 2-year-old girl was found in the road in the 500 block of Liveoak. Person locating her was not able to make contact with anyone at houses in the area.

A complaint about animals hollering was made in the 700 block of Highland. Officers were unable to locate.

Two trucks were reported to be racing on the Loop and FM 219.

May 2

Alittleboyfoundhandcuffs, put them one and the parent would like an officer to help them get them off.

Dublin EMS

April 29 – An elderly male fell and hit his head while having a seizure. Passed out afterwards no blood loss.

April 20 – an elderly female with a UTI turned septic. Was transported to ER.

May 1 – An elderly female had pain in her hip in the past few days and cannot stand or walk.

May 2 – An elderly female was having trouble breathing, has a history of shortness of breath. A male subject had part of an earbud stuck in his ear and asked for EMS help.
