Dublin PD was informed that a dog at the City Park had grabbed a child’s pants.
Another caller reported two dogs running loose at the Family Dollar parking lot and going into the store.
January 20
Dublin PD arrested Sergio Vidal was arrested for criminal mischief and assault causing bodily injury.
A reporting person advised that a dog was tied with a chain in the front yard of a N. Grafton residence with no shelter from the weather. An officer spoke with the owner but the animal was in the house when they arrived.
A caller reported that their debit card got stuck in an ATM and someone retrieved the card and left with it.
January 22
A reporting person advised an intoxicated man crashed into their son on E. Highway 6 and was attempting to leave the scene. The responding officer assisted until a deputy arrived.
A loose German Shepherd was reported in front of the police station.
January 23
Dublin PD was informed of loud music and a fire in the yard of a residence in the 400 block of S. Park.
Dublin PD was contacted about a dog being shot on W. Blackjack. A conversation with the subject revealed that the dog was chasing their horses and had done it several times.
