A report was made for a large black dog trying to attack a small dog on the 500 block of Sheridan.
Caller wanted a dead cat removed from the road near the 300 block of Blackjack.
A report was made for dogs running around biting people on Preston.
July 6
A report was made for a reckless driver near millionaire ranch and was possibly intoxicated. The County requested assistance.
There was a building check requested at the high school on Hwy 6.
Caller reported that it appeared like someone tried to break into the office at the pool on the 200 block of Highland.
Caller reported that there was an intoxicated driver near the 700 block of Sheehan.
July 7
Caller reported that the neighbor’s dogs were attacking each other and that the owner may need help breaking it up. The call came from the 400 block of Gracie.
A report was made for a dump truck swerving all over the road on FM 1702.
July 8
A report was made for a reckless driver who was hitting curbs and swerving on Patrick.
Reporting person at Brookshire’s advised police that they were given a counterfeit hundred dollar bill and was still in the store. The male individual had a warrant out for his arrest and was transferred to the county jail.
July 9
An officer was out with two subjects on Blackjack.
Reporting person came into the station to report that the neighbor’s dogs were damaging her property and that there were scratch marks on her vehicle. The reporting person said that she has tried to speak with the owners about keeping the animals in their yard and nothing has been done.
Caller reported that a Hispanic male came into Golden Chick with blood on his hands and the caller was afraid he was going to hurt someone. The individual took off towards Brookshire’s.
July 10
There was a close patrol of the city park and pool area on the 200 block of Highland.
Caller reported that he stayed with a friend the night before and his military gear and backpack were stolen. The call came from the 100 block of Davies.
An Officer conducted a traffic stop on Blackjack where both subjects had warrants out for their arrests. Both were arrested and transported to county jail.
July 11
Two reports were made for loud music. One on the 300 block of Harris and the second came from the 1000 block of Elm.
