A reporting person needed to speak with an officer about a civil matter.

There was a report of a male individual causing a disturbance at a business in the 500 block of East Blackjack. An officer met with the caller at the business, and they stated the male came in, started causing a disturbance with the workers. The officer located the subject and a criminal trespass was issued.

A reporting person in the 600 block of Wateroak saw a flashlight the night before around the neighborhood and requested a close patrol for the next several weeks.

A person in the 400 block of West Liveoak reported his neighbor’s dog jumped over the fence and attacked his dog. An officer and animal control made the scene, the owner took his dog to the vet and the other dog was taken to the shelter until the owners met the requirements to get the dog back.

A reporting person stated her 13-year-old grandson did not make it home after school. The officer went to the high school, and the child was located and went home with grandma.

A reporting person came into the station for a civil standby to get their belongings.

Dublin PD was called regarding a dispute after a subject took back a vehicle after a family member had not paid.

Dec. 4

There was a report of a male and female arguing at Allsup’s, the female left on foot and the male got into an 18-wheeler parked on the side of the road. The female was located and stated it was all verbal. She had a warrant out of Harris County and was placed into custody, and taken to Erath County Jail.

An agency assist was requested for a subject driving on the wrong side of the road in Stephenville headed towards Dublin on Hwy. 377. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

A reporting person in the 500 block of Camden needed assistance getting into her house. Her key fell under the door as she was unlocking it.

Edgar Keller was arrested for assault family violence and taken to the Erath County Jail after an assault took place.

Dec. 5 Edgar Keller got out of jail, violated a protective order in place and was arrested for violating the EPO.

A reporting person requested a close patrol.

Dec. 6

There was a welfare check request.

A reporting person in the 500 block of Camden advised someone was trying to break into her house. Officer arrived on scene, and there was a delivery driver dropped off a package on the porch.

A reporting person requested an officer to come to their residence. They advised a car was speeding down the road and ran over their dog in the 300 block of Pearl. Officer patrolled the area for awhile.

Dec. 7

A reporting person stated there was a tiny flame near the train tracks. These were flares to fix a water line near the train tracks for safety.

Dec. 8

A reporting person wanted to report a stolen gun. His wife took a gun and pawned it. Due to them being married, there was no criminal offense and it will be a civil matter.

A text message came through to 911 from an anonymous reporter stating the neighbors saw an armed man walking with a crying woman in the area. An officer in the area conducted a search with a spotlight in the area of Highland Avenue and Woodland Trail, and did not see anyone matching that description. A close patrol was conducted throughout the night.
