Sept. 2

There was report of guard rail damage on the overpass at Hwy. 377 and Hwy. 6. A reporting person on scene advised there was a truck and horse trailer there with nobody around. Dispatch received a crash detection around 4:45 that pinged in the same area. Officer spoke to the registered owner of the truck and he advised that he dropped his phone but there was no crash. The reporting person was advised to come back to the scene and speak with the Trooper that is taking over the investigation. The subject was arrested by the Trooper for duty on striking fixture and failing to report an accident.

There was a report of a reckless driver on Hwy. 377 South. Dublin PD located the vehicle and made contact with the driver who was possibly intoxicated. Officer performed SFSTs and it was determined that the driver was intoxicated. Zachery Darby was placed under arrest for DWI 3rd or more.

Sept. 5

A front door was found open on a vacant house in the 500 block of East Dobkins. Officer searched the area around and inside the house. It was clear with no signs of break in or anyone inside the house.

A reporting person came to the station to report a scam.

DISD building checks. All secure.

A reporting person needed someone advise about a civil issue.

Sept. 6

A reporting person stated that his ex-girlfriend is sending threatening

Sept. 7

A reporting person wanted to speak with someone about her son possibly getting arrested.

A reporting person in the 600 block of Austin couldn’t find her 9 year old. She advised it had been about an hour and he was supposed to go to a friend’s house but nobody was at the residence. Officer made scene and the child was back home.

A reporting person lives in Oklahoma and requested a welfare check on her dad that has not answered his phone in a couple of days. Officer made contact with the dad and he stated his phone was not working properly and everything was OK.

Dublin PD assisted with traffic control on E. State Hwy. 6 to move cows off the roadway.

Sept. 8

After a domestic disturbance, Marco Aguilar was placed under arrest for assault family violence.

There was a report of loud music and a lot of smoke coming into the reporting person’s yard in the 300 block of North Grafton. An officer went to the area and did not observe any loud music and there was a barrel that was burning limbs. No burn ban is in effect and there was no loud music, no criminal offense occurred.

A reporting party requested an officer at her residence for a civil matter.
