Feb. 5

A reporting person came into the station to report the neighbor’s dog was severely malnourished. Call was referred to animal control.

There was a report of a reckless driver that tried to cut off the reporting person and went onto the sidewalk in Deleon. The vehicle was headed toward Dublin. An officer was in the area on Hwy. 6 and could not locate the vehicle.

Feb. 6

A reporting person from Blessingsrequestedacriminal trespass on a female. The criminal trespass was issued to a female.

Officers issued criminal trespasses on five subjects in reference to a disturbance that occurred.

Feb. 7

There was a report of a man in a tent in City Park. An officer made scene and walked around the area and did not locate anyone. All buildings were checked and secured.

There was a report of a theft that occurred at the old Dublin High School.

A criminal trespass from Central Inn was requested after reports of harassment.

Officer later served a criminal trespass on two subjects from Central Inn.

There was an agency assist requested to locate two reckless drivers on 377 Southbound. An officer in the area did not locate those vehicles.

There was a report of a disturbance with multiple people yelling at one another. Officerlocatedtheindividuals

and advised that it was a child that dialed 911 on a nonworking phone. No disturbance.

Feb. 8

There was a report of a reckless driver driving at an excessive speed and running people off the road on Hwy. 377 Northbound. An officer located the vehicle traveling Northbound at an excessive speed and observed the vehicle cut off three other vehicles. Officer observed the vehicle going 108 mph in a 70 mph zone, attempted to stop the vehicle and the vehicle finally stopped. Jon Archer was placed under arrest for reckless driving and fleeing from law enforcement.

A reporting person requested a phone call back from an officer in reference to a disturbance.

Feb. 9

There was a report of loud music in the area. An officer advised the music was turned down.

Feb. 11

A reporting person in the 1000 block of North Patrick advised the door on the apartment beside them was wide open, window screen on the ground and the apartment was vacant. Officers arrived on scene to clear the apartment to make sure nobody was inside. Due to the storm that came through before the call, it is possible the wind blew the door open and knocked the screen off the window.

An agency assist was requested with a runaway until a deputy could arrive at PD.
