Petey Gomez has been selected to receive this year’s Bob Sohm Memorial Vocational Scholarship from the Dublin Lions Club. This $500 scholarship is only given when there is a highly qualified vocational student who plans to advance in his field. Sohm, as a member of the Lions Club, helped institute the scholarship a number of years ago and it was named in his honor following his death last year. Melissa Summers | submitted photo
