The Dublin community got a sneak peek at the One Act Play (OAP) team’s “Jekyll and Hyde” on Tuesday, Feb. 20 in the old auditorium. The wellattended performance gave them practice before they attended Zone Contest on Feb. 27. The results of that contest were not available at presstime.
“This is a show that my kids saw High School OAP do when they were in Jr. High in 2020,” said OAP director Pam Kasinger. “For several of them, it was the show that made them want to be a part of One Act Play.”
“Because the 2020 shut down cut our season short, we never were able to see how far it could go,” she continued. “These students are so excited to be able to pick up the show and see it through to the end.”
The dramatization of the classic horror story features four actors following Dr. Jekyll as different manifestations of the murderous Mr. Hyde who take control throughout the play.
