A Flag Raising Service will be held Monday at the Veteran’s Memorial at the Dublin Public Library in observance of Memorial Day.
The 9 a.m. service will honor those who have lost their lives while serving their country in the military.
The event is sponsored by the Dublin American Legion #219 and the Dublin Historical Society.
The Veteran’s Memorial is located on State Highway 6 next to the Dublin Library. Everyone is welcome to come and be a part of this meaningful event.
Several local businesses will be closed Monday in honor of Memorial Day including the Dublin Citizen, City Hall, and the local banks. The Dublin Public Library will also be closed Saturday in observance.
