Locals gathered

Locals gathered around the Comanche Courthouse square and at Stone Eagle Beer Garden for a dinner and auction fundraiser for Dublin 5-year-old Rylan Pruitt who is battling a rare form of brain cancer at St. Jude’s in Memphis, Tennessee. Although the hospital is not charging for the treatment, it will still take several months so donations were being gathered to help the meals and lost wages of Rylan’s parents as they rotated trips to Tennessee to stay with their son. Rylan’s father, Mike, expressed his gratitude to organizers of the event and those who have shown their support.
