The Erath County community gathered together on April 20 at Stephenville’s Jaycee Park to march to “Stop the Silence.” Advocates, sporting signs of solidarity, gathered in the park and marched to raise awareness to end child abuse, sexual assaults, domestic violence, and violent crimes.
The event was held in conjunction with National Crime Victims Rights week (April 18-24, 2021), which was established in 1981 by President Ronald Reagan to bring attention and support to victims of crime. Sara Gann | Citizen staff photo
