A number of local graduates were recently recognized by universities.
Abilene Christian University announced Dean’s Honor Roll students for the Fall 2024 semester. Students earn Dean’s Honor Roll recognition by achieving a 3.6 or higher GPA while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.
Ella Gibbons, a junior Nursing major from Stephenville.
Britta Robertson, a senior Communication Disorders major from Stephenville.
Kirah Tippie, a freshman Nursing major from Dublin.
-- Lyla Anderson was McPherson College’s fall 2024 Honorable Mention Honor Roll. Students earning a grade point average of 3.25 to 3.54 are named to the list.
---- Breanna Ruse of Bluff Dale was presented a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Chemistry 2024 Fall semester at Sam Houston State University.
Sam Houston State University in Huntsville recognized Hayden French of Stephenville on the Fall 2024 President’s and Dean’s Lists for achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average in all work attempted while enrolled in not less than 12 semester hours.
--- Emma Grant, of Hico, TX, was named to the Mississippi State University fall 2024 Deans’ List. To be named to the Deans’ List, a student must have achieved a gradepoint average between 3.5 and 3.79, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
--- Schreiner University of Kerrville has named Molly Pruetz of Morgan Mill to its Fall 2024 President’s List. To be eligible for the President’s List, full-time students must earn at least a 4.0 grade point average for the term, passing all classes, and have at least 12 hours credit for the term.
