Lingleville ISD School Board approved four contracts and pledged its continuing support of the Lingleville Athletic Booster Club during a brief regular meeting Thursday, July 21.
The meeting ended with a closed session after which school board members approved the district to hire the following: Jodi Carpenter (first grade teacher), Donella Glasscock (nurse), Kimberly Middleton (Jr. High Math) and Jessica Shawver (high school social studies).
The board was also briefed on plans for the upcoming school year by LABC and asked if they would continue to support the program in its efforts of backing athletic programs in the district. The board voted unanimously that it would. (Monty Williams was absent.)
The board also tabled a vote for the construction of a new concession stand as bids were still being gathered for electrical and plumbing work.
