Lead in the 2nd Frontier Camp 1904 S.C.V. (above) assisted the Daughters of the Confederacy, Major George B. Erath Chapter 2679, District VII in honoring the Confederate Veterans buried at Taylors Chapel. The SCV had a gun and cannon salute. “The UDC also erected an iron cross on the grave of Confederate Thomas E. Kelley, in honor of his service during the War of Northern Aggression” said United Daughter of the Condfedracy’s Sheran Weible. The UDC Texas Division Recording Secretary attended, Miss Sheila Randolph ( below, left) who is an Attorney from Ft. Worth. She shared her beautiful voice at the ceremony honoring these 17 Confederate Soldiers buried at Taylor’s Chapel. Pictured at top are the ladies from the Major George B.
