Elaine Fields Smith, Hocheim Prairie Insurance board member (center), recently presented donations of $200 to Dublin Goodfellows (represented by Michael Haley, left), $300 to Transformation Pathways/Dublin’s Christian Women’s Job Corps (represented by Pam McLerran, right) and $100 to the Dublin Livestock Buying Pool. Donations were officially presented at Transformation Pathway’s Will Do Good Thrift Market which benefits the ministry. Every policyholder of HPI pays a membership fee as part of their premium. Those fees go directly to an account to be distributed in the county where those policyholders live for donations to places like non-profits, volunteer fire departments and toy drives. A total of $2,907 was donated back to Erath County by HPI in 2020.
