The following individuals were indicted March 6 on charges by the Erath County Grand Jury. They are: Mauricio Ruiz Calzontzi, 44, injury to a child (State Jail felony); Richard Samuel Jones, 37, Driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 (State Jail felony); Omar Villeda Lopez, 38, possession of a substance in penalty group 1, less than 1 gram (State Jail felony); Saundra Lea Marcoot, 35, obstruction or retaliation (Third Degree felony); Rickey Reyes, 27, assault peace officer/judge (Second Degree felony); Christopher Lee Shipps, 45, possession of a substance in penalty group 1, one to 4 grams (Third Degree felony) and possession of a substance in penalty group 1, four to 200 grams (Second Degree felony); Robert Louis Stroman, 37, possession of a substance in penalty group 1, less than 1 gram (Third Degree felony).
