Erath County Grand Jury returned nine indictments on Aug. 18. They included: Dallas Roy Rurleson, 29, Burglary of a Building, a state jail felony; Michael Anthony Douglas Deem, 31, Credit Car or Debit Card Abuse, a state jail felony; Kenneth Lynn Kelly, Driving While Intoxicated (third or more offense, enhanced), a third degree felony; Dandy Meraz Ortega, 46, two counts of Possession of a Substance in Penalty Group 1 (less than one gram), a state jail felony; Alberto Serrano-Vargas, 36, Possession of a Substance in Penalty Group 1 (less than one gram), a state jail felony; Jose Guadalupe Villanueva- Rivera, Possession of a Substance in Penalty Group 1 (less than one gram), a state jail felony; Brendon Michael Vivian, 25, Evading Arrest or Detention (with previous conviction), a state jail felony; and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle (enhanced), a state jail felony.
