BROWNWOOD

Water slightly stained; 59 degrees; 2.50 low. Largemouth bass are fair with crankbaits, skirted jigs, and bladed spinners in 3-12’ near creeks, rocky shorelines, and fallen timber. Crappie are good on minnows in brush piles and timber near a creek channel. White bass and hybrids are good on white slabs in the main lake near humps, ridges, and flats.

GRANBURY

Water clear; 62 degrees; 0.18 low. Largemouth bass are fair on swimbaits, spinnerbaits, and flipping jigs in 4-12’ near boat houses, submerged timber, and rock ledges. Crappie fishing is fair around brush piles and boat docks with minnows and jigs. Catfishing is good with cut bait or punch bait. White bass are good using slabs and jigging spoons.

POSSUM KINGDOM

Water clear; 61 degrees; 0.51’ low. Black bass are good among steep drops and raising humps on plastic worms and spinnerbaits. White bass are sporadic on Alabama rigs, jigs, and slabs. Crappie are good with jigs under deeper docks. Striped bass are fair on live shad and jigs. Catfish are good on cut shad, live sunfish, dough balls, and stinkbait.

PROCTOR

Water clear; 59 degrees; 0.43 low. Largemouth bass are good on Texas rigged worms, skirted jigs, and crankbaits near brush, creeks, and rocky shorelines. Hybrid stripers are good with live bait in the main lake around 17-35’. Crappie are good with minnows in 14-28’ in standing timber and brush piles.

WEATHERFORD

Water lightly stained; 59 degrees; 1.71 low. Largemouth bass are good on jigs, crankbaits, and spinners near rocky shorelines and points, fallen timber, and brush. White bass are good in 20-35’ with slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around docks, marinas, and submerged cover. Catfish are good on cut bait.
