BROWNWOOD

Water stained; 58 degrees; 3.26 low. Largemouth bass are fair with jerk baits, bladed spinners, crankbaits, and skirted jigs in coves, shorelines, and timber in 2-10’. Crappie are fair on minnows in brush piles and near bridge pilings, with some crappie caught in the creeks. White bass and hybrids are good on spoons and swimbaits in the creeks. Catfish are good on punch bait, chicken liver, and cut bait in 12-25’ near baited areas.

GRANBURY

Water clear; 61 degrees; 0.18 low. Largemouth bass are fair on chatter baits, suspended jerk baits, lizards, and football jigs in 1-8’ near main lake points and secondary points as well as shorelines and coves. Crappie fishing is good around boat docks and creeks with minnows and jigs. Catfishing is fair with cut bait and punch bait. Stripers are good with live bait and swim baits along the main lake channel in 35-45’.

POSSUM KINGDOM

Water clear; 61 degrees; 0.64’ low. Largemouth bass are good, continuing in spawn for its last week working worms and small crankbaits in standing vegetation, some rocks, and timber. Crappie are still fair on jigs in timber and under large docks. White bass are fair on Alabama rigs and crankbait on rocky points. Striped bass are fair to slow with minimal activity having to go deeper and deeper to catch them. Catfish are good on cut bait, live sunfish, and stinkbait.

PROCTOR

Water lightly stained, 58 degrees; 0.51 low. Largemouth bass are good on topwater, suspended jerk baits, cranks, and craws near main lake points, coves and shorelines. Hybrid stripers are fair with swimbaits and live bait in the main lake around 35-45’. Crappie are good with minnows near creeks, timber, and brush piles. Catfish are good on cut bait and punch bait.

EATHERFORD

Water clear; 60 degrees; 1.33 low. Largemouth bass are good on skirted jigs, shad like crankbaits and lizards near shorelines, fallen timber, and creeks; White bass are good in creeks on silver spoons, rooster tails, and swimbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows around docks, creeks, and submerged cover. Catfish are fair on punch bait and earthworms.
