BROWNWOOD

Water stained; 51 degrees; 3.05 low. Largemouth bass are slow with spinners, crankbaits, and jigs in coves, shorelines, and timber in 8-15’. Crappie are good on minnows in brush piles and timber edges near a creek channel or drop-off. White bass and hybrids are good on spoons and swimbaits in the creeks. Catfish are good on punch bait and cut bait in 12-25’ near baited areas.

GRANBURY

Water clear; 54 degrees; 0.01 low. Largemouth bass are fair on spinners, baits, senkos, and hair jigs in 5-15’ near points, rocky shorelines, and rock ledges. Crappie fishing is good around boat docks with minnows. Catfishing is slow with cut bait and punch bait. Stripers are good with swimbaits and A-rigs along the main lake channel in 35-45’.

POSSUM KINGDOM

Water clear; 54 degrees; 0.50’ low. Largemouth bass are good in flooded vegetation moving upriver, seeking structure on worms, and finding the main lake’s calmer spots. Crappie are fair on jigs looking in submerged vegetation no deeper than 12 feet. White bass are fair on crankbaits among steep drops and coming out from shallow coves and creeks. Striped bass are fair finding the drop with baitfish. Catfish are good on cut bait, live sunfish, and stinkbait.

PROCTOR

Water lightly stained, 51 degrees; 0.41 low. Largemouth bass are good on finesse worms, jerk baits, cranks, and skirted jigs in near brushy creeks, timber edges, and rocky shorelines. Hybrid stripers are fair with swimbaits in the main lake around 30-45’. Crappie are fair with minnows in 14-28’ in creek mouths, timber, and brush piles. Catfish are good on cut bait and punch bait.

WEATHERFORD

Water clear; 49 degrees; 1.32 low. Largemouth bass are fair on football jigs, crankbaits, and finesse worms near rocky shorelines and creeks, fallen timber, and brush. White bass are good in creeks on silver spoons and swimbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows around docks, creeks, and submerged cover. Catfish are fair on punch bait. Lake Proctor
