BROWNWOOD
SLOW. Water stained; 82-85 degrees; 0.20 feet below pool. Black bass to 8.35 pounds are slow in 8-25 feet of water on trick worms and square bill cranks. Dog days of summer has hit. Fishing is tough all over the lake. Early and late will be your best bet on catching any fish. Crappie are good to 13 inches on minnows and jigs in 10-18 feet on deeper large docks with brush on the main lake and on scattered brush piles. White bass are slow to 1.50 pounds on crappie jigs and crankbaits out of the lights at night. Catfish are good to 25 pounds on jug lines with cut shad on the main lake flats GRANBURY
GOOD. Water good clarity; 86 degrees; water levels normal. Water clarity is good in most areas. Water temperatures on Granbury continue to hover above the 86 degree mark and even hotter in the sloughs. Striped bass and sand bass are good on slabs and live shad on the lower ends. Striped bass to 10 pounds are possible. Sand bass and smaller striped bass are schooling on many mornings and can be had with most any shad imitation bait. Some largemouth bass are on the surface early and late and are good on crankbaits and soft plastics. Look for the bigger largemouth near creek entrances and near shaded docks later. Catfish are good on hotdogs and cut shad. The night action for catfish is reported as good with an occasional fish to 20 pounds possible.
POSSUM KINGDOM FAIR. The water temp is steady at 85-87 F; 0.16 feet above pool. Stripers are slow with the best bite on live bait in 20-40 feet of water. Fish are moving fast, so you will have to slowly move around and just pick them off one at a time till you find a good school. Then try to stay on top of the school, which can be extremely tough as they are moving fast. Sand bass are still fair to good in 510 feet of water on main lake points and sand flats. Chrome and white seem to be out producing all other colors. Catfish are fair to good. Cut shad is producing fish in 10-20 feet of water fished on the bottom. Baited holes are your best bet to catch numbers, but not size. Bait with cattle cubes and wait 2-3 hours before fishing.
PROCTOR
FAIR. Water stained; 86 degrees; 0.38 feet above pool. Catfish are good on cut bait and live bait with reports of good catches of channels. Patience seems to be key letting baits sit rather than constantly retrieving is producing better results. Brush piles are holding fish with some good takedowns reported. Striper fishing has been reported by local anglers. Reports of white bass caught trolling in shallow water. Crappie are transitioning to brush piles.

FAIR. Water stained; 86 degrees; 3.60 feet below pool. Bass are fair on crankbaits and jigs around docks and rocks. Crappie are fair with minnows and jigs on brush piles. Catfish are slow on shad and cut bait. Water visibility is one foot.
