Several community grants were recently awarded at the Tuesday, May 28 Dublin Economic Development Corporation meeting.
A community improvement grant program event grant for $2,500 was unanimously approved for the Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum for the National Day of the Cowboy.
A $1,800 Community Improvement Grant project for the rock wall at the library was also approved.
EDC Executive Director Penny Corona went over the status for the current budget by category and it was noted that the funds for Commercial Business Grants for Property Owners and Business owners has been expended for the current fiscal year. These grants will open back up on Oct. 1, 2024. Budget workshops and grant application revision workshops were discussed. Corona said she would email some dates so board members can choose what works best with their schedules.
