The 2021-2022 school year is in full swing at Dublin High School.
The first six weeks recently wrapped and the second six weeks are ramping up! Despite some minor setbacks due to Covid, the majority of our students have returned, our sports teams are back to their schedules, and the staff is working hard with great success! This week, the secondary campus will be the location of two major events.
The Dublin Secondary campus is proud to serve as the filming location of a music video! A film crew will be utilizing a few of the common areas, and some students, to create a portion of the video. It’s a sizable project, but it will not disrupt the operations of the campus. Mrs. Kasinger and Mr. Luedke designed the logistics to streamline the day. We can’t wait to see the finished product!
This week Dublin Secondary School will be having our yearly community pep rally. We would love to see our parents, families, and community members come out on Friday morning at 8:15 am to cheer on and show their support of our Dublin Lions and Lady Lions. We will also be announcing at the pep rally our 2021 Homecoming King. Seating for the pep rally will be on the home side of the Bob and Norma Cervetto Field.
Dublin high school students recently concluded voting for the homecoming court. We congratulate all the nominees and look forward to announcing Homecoming Queen on Friday at 7:00 pm.
At 7:30 pm the Dublin Lions will be playing in their much anticipated Homecoming game against San Saba. We hope to see you Friday night for the game and festivities. Go LIONS!
DHS is proud to announce the inaugural Community Services class has been lending a hand around town! This class of twenty-six dedicated students has put in time at the library, tutored at the Elementary and Intermediate campus, worked with the Women’s Job Corps, and helped this past weekend at the Hispanic Heritage Festival. Regina Rasberry is working hard to facilitate opportunities for community involvement for our young Lion Leaders!
FAFSA Night is coming to DHS on October 25th at 6:00 PM. The Federal Application for Student Aid is a new requirement for the graduating class of 2022. This application helps determine how much federal grant and/or loan money is available to your student to be used at trade schools, community colleges, and four-year universities. Join us and learn more about the process and how it can help you and your student pay for educational opportunities.
The faculty and staff at the Dublin Secondary Campus are proud to serve our students and the community! We have some of the most qualified educators in the county working to educate our youth. Thanks to a very talented and dedicated group of custodians, our facilities are in peak condition every day! We look forward to sharing more great news in the 2021-2022 school year!
