    The spring semester at Dublin Junior High is packed with exciting events and important dates to keep on your radar! From athletic competitions to academic deadlines, here’s everything you need to know to stay informed and ready for the months ahead.

    Track Season Kicks Off!

    Our student-athletes are gearing up for track season, and we can’t wait to see them in action! The first track meet of the season took place on February 17th in Hico. Come out and support our talented runners as they take on the competition!

    Upcoming School Holidays Students and staff will enjoy a few well-deserved breaks in February. There will be no school on February 17th and February 28th. Be sure to mark your calendars and enjoy the time off!

    End of the Six Weeks The current six-week grading period will come to a close on February 21st. Parents, this is a great time to check in on your child’s progress and encourage them to finish strong!

    Tuesday School for Missing Work Tuesday School is mandatory for any student with missing work. The next session will be held on February 25th from 3:30-5:30 PM. This is a crucial opportunity for students to complete missing assignments and improve their grades. Parents, please ensure your child attends if required, and remember to check the Parent Portal regularly to stay updated on assignments and grades. The Parent Portal can be accessed using the same login credentials you used to register your child for school.

    Spring Break is Almost Here! Get ready for a wellearned break! Spring Break will kick off with an early release at 1:30 PM on March 13th. Students will return to class on March 24th, ready to finish the semester strong.

    STAAR Testing Dates – Plan Ahead! State testing is just around the corner. Please avoid scheduling appointments on these important testing days: April 8th – 7th Grade Reading April 10th – 8th Grade Reading April 15th – 8th Grade Social Studies April 17th – 8th Grade Science April 23rd – 7th Grade Math April 24th – 8th Grade Math We are looking forward to a fantastic semester filled with learning, growth, and success.
