Dublin ISD continues its commitment to preparing students for success after high school by providing a wide range of College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) opportunities. From testing and financial aid support to college applications and military visits, students and families are encouraged to take note of the following important dates and resources.

Dublin ISD is also very committed to ensuring every student is prepared for life after high school. As part of this effort, all seniors have received a Post-Secondary Readiness Folder filled with valuable resources to help guide them through the college, career, and military readiness process.

Each folder includes: -A sign-up sheet for FAFSA Days, TSTC Application Day, and TSU Application Day -Instructions on how to send test scores to colleges -A college application checklist -A FAFSA checklist -College application fee waivers (if qualified) -An end-of-junior-year transcript -Information on the ASVAB, SAT, ACT, TSI, and Industry-Based Certifications (if earned) Students and families are encouraged to use these folders as a central place to store important documents that will support their postsecondary goals. Recommended additions include: Recommendation letters Scholarship essays and applications A work or high school résumé Any other materials that will help students succeed after high school These folders are designed to keep our seniors organized and confident as they navigate the next steps toward college, career, or military service. We want to give them every tool possible to succeed.

Testing Opportunities

The fall semester brings a full calendar of testing for students across grade levels: PSAT/NMSQT – October 2, 2025, for students who registered in advance.

SAT – Fall test dates for juniors and seniors: October 8, 9, 10, and 24. A spring test is scheduled for March 26, 2026, with additional dates possible depending on demand. Students may now sign up with Ms. Clayton.

ACT – Juniors and seniors will test on October 16 and 17. The spring date is March 12, 2026, with additional sessions available based on registration numbers. Signups are open with Ms. Clayton.

TSI (Grades 9–12) – Scheduled for October 23, November 14, December 11, January 22, February 26, and May 12. Students must complete the pre-assessment at least two days prior to testing in order to receive a voucher.

PSAT 10 – Required for all sophomores on March 31, 2026.

ASVAB – Required for all juniors on October 30, 2025. Seniors may retest if desired.

FAFSA Support Dublin ISD is offering multiple opportunities for students and families to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): FAFSA Days (studentfocused): October 7, November 4, and December 2. Students will receive guidance from Ms. Clayton, TRIO, and Tarleton’s Upward Bound program.

FAFSA Nights (parentfocused, bilingual): October 14, November 11, and December 9 from 4:30–6:00 p.m. at Dublin Secondary. These sessions provide hands-on assistance for parents and guardians.

The FAFSA opens on October 1 for the 2026–2027 school year and is a state requirement for graduation.

Military Engagements Military representatives will be on campus throughout the fall to provide information about service opportunities: Army Lunch Visits: October 2, October 21, and November 12.

Army Classroom Visit (Juniors): October 21.

Marines Visit (Seniors): November 6.

National Guard Visits: November 4 (Juniors) and December 2 (Seniors).

College Readiness Opportunities Students will also have access to several collegefocused events this semester: Free College Application Week (ApplyTexas): October 13–17.

TSTC Application Day: November 3, with an admissions counselor present.

Tarleton State University Application Day: November 11, with TRIO and Upward Bound from TSU.

Upward Bound Lunch Visit (TSU): October 21.

Dual Credit Deadlines

Important deadlines for Ranger College dual credit courses include: Midterms: October 14–15, proctored at Dublin Secondary.

Finals: December 9–11, proctored at Dublin Secondary.

Payments Due: December 1, required to register for Winter or Spring sessions.

Drop Dates: October 31 (“W” – Withdraw) and December 8, 2025 (“Q” – Quit, all dual credit courses dropped).

Winter Mini-Semester Applications: Due October 24 to Ms. Clayton.

Spring Semester Applications: Due October 31 to Ms. Clayton.
