Our Dublin Intermediate School family hopes you got to spend quality time with your loved ones over last week’s Thanksgiving break. We are continuing to follow our familiar routines of working hard and learning together in the classrooms.
Our custodial staff and teachers continue to ensure that our school is cleansed for the safety and health of our students. They work diligently in sanitizing all areas of the school on a daily basis.
We would also like to express gratitude to our PTO for providing our campus staff with an amazing lunch earlier this month. Thank you for all that you do to show appreciation for our teachers and staff.
Parents, thank you for getting your child to school by 7:45 a.m. every day. Regular school attendance is essential to successful learning. Good attendance has a significant impact on reading and math achievement as your child is in school and engaged in learning to reach his or her full potential.
DIS appreciates the effort that Mrs. Clayton and the rest of the staff have shown for planning the UIL meet this year. They have dedicated countless hours organizing events, materials, schedules, and practices, to ensure all students are prepared to successfully compete at this year’s UIL meet.
Here are a few dates to remember in the upcoming weeks:
4th and 5th grade UIL meet is December 7th in Eastland.
6th grade UIL meet is December 8th in Early.
4th grade Christmas Music Program is December 16th at 2:45 pm in our school cafeteria. Parents are welcome to attend.
Early release for Christmas holidays is December 17th at 1:10 pm.
Christmas holidays will start December 20th and end January 3rd.
We are grateful to our staff for their dedication and commitment to our students. We have a few short weeks until our Christmas break. We will continue to focus on student learning, growth, success, and well-being. Happy Holidays!
