Dublin FFA Ag teacher/FFA sponsor Darren Price was honored for 30 years of service at the Agriculture Teacher’s Association of Texas on July 26. Price issued the following comment: “Today was a great day for me professionally! The Agriculture Teacher’s Association of Texas recognized me... for 30 years as a member, as I start my 32nd year of teaching. I remember making $17,000 dollars at my first teaching job and not having the extra money to become a member. I also remember sitting in the audience at my first conference thinking how cool it was to watch my mentors as they received their watches for 30 years of service. I never thought I would make it that long. I’m deeply proud and appreciative to be part of an organization that cares about it’s members.
