DHS honored for 4.0 GPAs

Two Dublin High School Graduates were recently recognized on achieving a 4.0 Grade Point Average in the Fall 2024 semester.

Aiden Salyer was presented a letter from Tarleton State University President James Hurley for making the President’s List and maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

“Maintaining such a high GPA is a significant accomplishment, and your grit, perseverance, and commitment to excellence have undoubtedly contributed to your success,” Dr. Hurley wrote in the letter. “You are among an elite group of students to receive this honor.”

Salyer was also nominated to the National Society of Leadership and Success for the Spring Semester.

Dublin High School Graduate Lyla Anderson was recognized in the Fall 2024 semester at McPherson College for maintaining a 4.0 grade point average.

“I commend you for the discipline, hard work, and motivation that certainly underlies such an outstanding performance,” wrote Dr. Matt Skillen, the college’s Vice President of Academic Affairs in a letter to Anderson. “A 4.0 grade point average is goal for every serious student; you are among the few who have attained that goal in the Fall 2024 semester.”
