A brief commissioners court meeting was held Monday, March 11 including a slew of regular agenda items.

A replat of a portion of lot 25 in the Timber Hills addition will take a 13-acre tract of land and split it in half. According to Subdivision Coordinator Jason Gardner everything was in order for the change to take place.

The commissioners also unanimously approved the renewal of the Affordable Car Act Reporting and Tracking Service, at zero cost to the county.

Commissioner Albert Ray sought approval on a land owner’s behalf for the county to clean out a fence row on County Road 387.

Ray explained eliminating the dead trees would improve safety on the road and sight clearance on the corner.

An Erath County Economic Development Agreement for the TX RBF Grant No. 2022-002 was unanimously approved for reimbursement for the Schreiber Foods project.

Line item transfers and the treasurer’s report were also approved.

As part of the meeting, the Faith Knights Girls Basketball Team was recognized and Commissioner Joe Brown received an appreciation award from the Texas Association of Counties for his service on their board for the past five years.
