The Dublin Citizen earned more awards as it claimed second place sweepstakes in the North & East Texas Press Association awards held Saturday in conjunction with the NETPA/West Texas Press Association combined convention held at the Circle T Resort in Hamilton April 7-April 9.
“Readers of the Dublin Citizen already know what a high quality, communityoriented newspaper they see each week, but it’s always nice to get recognition from our peers,” said Dublin Citizen publisher Brett Wesner. “I couldn’t be prouder of Paul Gaudette, Cindy Combs, and Deborah McClatchey. With a small staff, they put out one of Texas’ best papers week after week. Congratulations to them.”
The Dublin Citizen claimed the overall second place in its division after claiming the following awards:
