Those looking for a chance to learn while supporting other women may want to attend the Dublin Chamber of Commerce’s Second Annual Professional Business Women Summit.
The event is set from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at Dove Creek Ranch located at 15470 County Road 351 in Dublin.
Tickets can be purchased at the event for $30.
“Some things are worth standing strong for and supporting women is one of them. This summit represents one of the most important events we have been involved in, as we deeply value and appreciate the contributions of women. We see their worth and are committed to supporting and inspiring them to achieve success in every aspect of their lives,”Chamber Board Member Blanca Martineau said. “We encourage the business owners in our community to recognize the value of this networking opportunity and support this event by sending your female employees to attend. The event will kick off at 9 a.m. with registration and breakfast. Breakfast will be catered by Melissa Cortez with coffee from Blackjack’s Coffee.
Opening keynote speaker Tracy King from King Law will begin speaking at 9:30 a.m.
From 10-10:30 a.m. there will be “Business Finance Savvy” with Mary Smart from Boucher and Smart.
At 10:30 a.m. there will be a panel discussion with Jessica Cowan representing Bobbie Nichols, Wyndi Veigel-Gaudette Content Editor of The Dublin Citizen and Barbara Martinez, owner of B n M Media.
From 11:30 a.m. to noon, Roxanne McInroe Independent National Director will be speaking.
From noon to 1 p.m. lunch will be provided by Inflated Creations. From 1-2 p.m. there will be another panel discussion with Dublin Superintendent Melissa Summer and Pam Crabtree owner of Golden Butterfly.
From 2-2:30 p.m. AccelHealth CEO Esther Taylor will be speaking and from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. there will a scholarship and closing.
Throughout the day, Sarah McNeal-Weaver will act as the emcee. Free headshots will be offered throughout the day with E3.
