Holiday Cheer
We had much to be cheerful about in Dublin this season. While challenges have arisen in the past year, as a community we have come together to celebrate, laugh, learn, honor, and fellowship in various events. Thank you for allowing the Dublin Chamber of Commerce to be a part of promoting business and our local economy.
2022 Challenge
If you are a resolution maker, then please consider adding this resolution. Please help our community’s economy by buying local in the coming year. Remind yourself to think first “do we have it locally, and could it help a local business stay in Dublin if I purchase here instead of ordering it online or driving?” That single thought can be the starting point to help us become a more vibrant and successful community.
Time to Plan St. Patrick’s Festival
It’s that time again, and we are building on some tremendously successful events here at the Chamber. You have made events like the Hispanic Heritage Festival, Safe Trick or Treating and the Dublin’s Country Christmas Stroll and Lighted Parade wonderful. Now let’s do the same for our next St. Patrick’s Festival!
Scheduled for March 11, 12 and 13, we will begin meeting in the next two weeks to plan the event. Would you like to be on the Committee to plan and manage the event? Let me know, and we’ll include you on the team. Would you like to be a sponsor for the St. Patrick’s Festival? We’ll get you visibility for your generosity. Want to be in the Parade or be a Vendor? Just let me know how you would like to be involved in this terrific annual event.
Join the Chamber
If you are already a Dublin Chamber member, you can expect to receive your annual dues request in the coming week. If you are not already a Chamber member, why not? Would you like to become a member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce? You’ll get free advertising, referrals, public relations, and digital marketing services. What a great time to become a Chamber member!
New to Chamber Members in 2022
In 2022, we will roll out a new advertising opportunity for our Chamber members. If you would like to be in a continual rotating promotion on the downtown digital sign, you can purchase a sixmonth campaign of visibility. For $100 per month, you will be one of ten monthly businesses featured. The first ten to respond to me will be the first ten chosen. Thereafter, we will maintain a waiting list and move to the next company on the list after a company’s six-month period is completed. (By the way, this six-month campaign will be in addition to the routine exposure the Chamber provides to you on the digital sign, social media and in other various avenues throughout the year.)
Never fear, we will continue to use the downtown digital sign to promote community events and happenings. Just let us know, at least two weeks in advance when possible, if you have something you would like us to share!
How Can We Make You More Profitable?
The Chamber’s role is to improve business for Dublin. How can we help local businesses reach their goals? I’m at 110 S. Patrick and 254/300-6263 and look forward to hearing your insight. The Chamber Welcome Center is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
