Dublin Brookshire Brothers manager Michael Beard on Thursday, Feb. 8 presented checks to Michael Haley of Dublin Goodfellows (left) and Cindy Martinez of Transformation Pathway, Dublin’s Christian Women’s Job Corps ministry. Each organization was presented $2,000 through Brookshire Brothers Charitable Foundation Grants which are presented annually to deserving nonprofit organizations and educational foundations across the states of Texas and Louisiana. For more than 100 years, Brookshire Brothers has made charitable contributions to aid in the fight against food insecurity and in support of programs and initiatives focused on education and the health and well-being of the communities it serves. This year, the chain donated $133,000 to 52 organizations.
