The Bosque River Chapter of Daughters of the Republic of Texas donated a copy of “The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate” by Jacqueline Kelly to students of Flying Colors Christian Academy in Glen Rose. This fulfills one of the requirements for the chapter to be awarded a Six Star Status. Other requirements include giving programs to other organizations on Texas history, celebrating Texas Honor Days, and sponsoring a chapter of Children of the Republic of Texas (CRT).
