Home Improvement Vendor Expo set March 12
Dowell Ace Hardware is hosting a Home Improvement Vendor Expo set for Thursday, March 12 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at City Hall at City Limits in Stephenville.
Organizers describe the free event by saying: “From home renovation and construction to landscaping to décor and technology, this Expo is designed to help you make informed decisions and kick off the spring season with confidence.”
While there, homeowners will be able to discover innovative products, meet trusted local businesses, ask questions and compare ideas and connect with professionals. There will also be drawings for a Maytag washer and dryer set as well as a 55” television, courtesy of Giffords TV & Electronics.

Community Prayer Vigil Saturday, Feb. 28
A community prayer vigil will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 on the courthouse lawn in Stephenville.
This will be a sacred time to gather in unity, to pray for grieving families, to lift up those carrying silent burdens, and to seek God’s comfort and mercy for Stephenville and Erath County as a whole.
There will be scripture readings, guided prayers, and moments of quiet reflection along with a message of Gospel hope.
Everyone is invited to attend, organizers said to worship together in unity.
EGGStravaganza Egg Stuffing Party Saturday
The Dublin Citizen and Dairy Queen along with CWJC will be hosting an Easter Egg Stuffing Party from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 28 at The Station.
All ages are welcome to attend (children must be accompanied by an adult).
Supplies will be provided, however, the donation of wrapped candy, fruit snacks, Scotch tape and small toys that fit inside Easter eggs for the community-wide hunt will be accepted.
Those who cannot attend the party may drop off donations at DQ or The Dublin Citizen. All donations are appreciated!
