    Turnbow-Higgs American Legion Post 240 Legionnaires, Unit 240 Auxiliary members, local Scouts and 2024-’25 deceased post everlasting next of Kin members, gathered at the historic American Legion building for Flag Day.

    On Saturday morning, June 14 to celebrate National Flag Day, by conducting their annual Proper Flag Disposal ceremony and to honor and pay tribute to Post 240 members who passed to Post everlasting during the previous membership year.

    Stephenville Fire Department provided fire safety oversight and joined all present following ceremonies to enjoy Auxiliary Unit 240 refreshments of cookies, punch and other cold drinks.
