Nine students are advancing to state after competing at Regionals in a variety of events for FCCLA. “I am so proud of how hard they have worked to achieve their goals to qualify for state. We have six that are returning students, and three that are new. I am also proud that they are willing to step outside of their comfort zones and try something new. State is April 9-11 and we are shooting for Nationals, which will be held in Washington D.C. in July,” FCCLA Sponsor Regina Rasberry said. In Teach and Train Level 2, Sarah Smith earned 4th place at Region and will advance to state. This is the first time a Dublin student is competing in this category. In Professional Presentation Level 2 the team comprised of Idaly Ramirez, Rosybel Calderon and Yareli Solis, received fourth place at Region and are advancing to state.
