This weekend will offer citizens and visitors plenty to keep busy in Dublin and the surrounding area.
Dublin High School graduation is set for 7 p.m. Friday, May 23 at Bob and Norma Cervetto Field. Graduation is open to everyone and no tickets are needed.
Lingleville High School graduation is also set for 7 p.m. Friday, May 23 at the Lingleville High School Gymnasium. Graduation is open to everyone and no tickets are needed.
Saturday, the city of Dublin will be hosting opening day of the City Pool from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 24.
There will be free admission for city of Dublin residents with proof of residency. Hot dogs and ice cream will be served while supplies last, as well as bounce houses and water slides.
Regular pool hours will be noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday. There will also be opportunities for pool rentals and regular admission is $3 per swimmer.
This weekend is also Citywide Garage Sale Weekend with garage sale permits being waived.
To be involved, contact City Hall to provide the address of your garage sale. The city will release the addresses on the city’s Facebook page Friday, May 23 and they will be shared by The Dublin Citizen.
The garage sale weekend is followed by the city’s community clean up day next Saturday, May 31.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Dublin Public Works at 602 North Norton Street.
In partnership with Waste Connections, large dumpsters will be available on-site for your disposal needs.
Accepted items will include general household junk, yard debris, furniture and non-hazardous waste.
They cannot accept tires, electronics, hazardous materials paint, freon, or any pressurized gas containers.

Double N Cowboy Church Family Fun Day will also be held Saturday, May 24 starting at 9:30 a.m.
The fun day will include horse events including barrels and pools, food and more for kids and adults.
