Residents in Dublin should be prepared as TxDOT begins work on Patrick Street (Business 67) Monday, April 7.
The work, which is anticipated to last until the fall of 2026, will take place on Patrick Street from U.S. 67 to Hwy. 6. The project includes rehabilitating the roadway, curbs, and gutters.
Various lanes will be closed as needed during the project.
“We are asking the public to observe all detours and have patience as this project starts,” Police Chief and Interim City Manager Cameron Ray said. “We’ve been in the planning phases for the past couple of years, and we are trying to make this as easy as possible on citizens. We are prepared to deal with any issues that may arise during the course of the project.”
TxDOT encourages attention to all warning signs within the work zone. Though plans may change, the project is anticipated to be handled in phases starting with the area furthest away from Dairy Queen.
