The Dublin Baseball and Softball Association has drawn eight teams for its adult co-ed softball tournament set for Friday and Saturday at Dublin City Park. Games will start Friday at 6 p.m.
Proceeds from the event are going towards the renovation of the Rotary Field for the youth league. ‘Rotary Revival’ shirts will be available at the games for $20 each to benefit the cause.
Sponsors and umpires are still being sought for the tournament. Anyone looking to help can call Danielle Meador at 254-434-2084.
Concessions at the event are being handled by the Dublin Volunteer Fire Department, which will be serving up a burger meal deal of hamburgers, chips and a drink for $8. Proceeds from the concession stand will benefit new equipment for the DVFD.
